OPERATE ON H. C. RIDDLE NEW "YORK, N. T., April 10. II. C. "Doc" Riddle, trainer for the Jadell Stable, was operated upon for appendicitis at the Mary Immaculate Hospital, Jamaica, Wednesday night; Riddle, recently arrived from New Orleans, where he raced during the winter. He complained of the pain in his side and, following a thorough examination, consented to the operation. He was reported to be resting well yesterday afternoon. Riddle turned over his horses, which are at Jamaica, to his assistant.
