1 BOWIE TURF NOTES : BOWIE. Md., April 10. Billy Baughn was claimed out of the seventh race Wednesday, by J. G. Bussey for ,000. J. G. Bussey acquired Billy Baughn, via the claiming route when he took the plater out of the seventh race Wednesday for ,000. He was the eleventh horse claimed at the meeting. Henry McDaniel sent his crack rider Bill Kelsay, from Belmont Park, to ride Vander Pool for nephew "Puddin" McDaniel in the Kindergarten Stakes. Young McDaniel is training Vander Pool for Mrs. M. P. Allen. The plater Gold Dust that was wintered at the Magruder Farm at Silver Springs, Md., has been taken up by trainer W. Shew-bridge. Gay Parisian was claimed by George Alexander for ,500, while Joseph Bianco claimed Woolorac for ,500.
