GallaUt Knight, the son of imported Bright Knight Ethel Gray, the Kentucky Derby hope of the Audley Farm Stable, again gave evidence of his advanced physical condition when he stepped the fastest three-quarters of a mile turned in at Churchill Downs this spring. The track was the fastest it has been this season and all horses working over it showed much faster time in their trials. Trainer Spence hooked the fast filly Nellie Ctistis in with Gallant Knight and the pair broke at the three-quarters pole, H. Schutte being on the colt and Willie Kern on the filly.
