DurnelPs Application Tabled by Kentucky License Committee LOUISVILLE Ky May 20 Charles E Durnell at a hearing before the license com ¬ mittee of the state racing commission at Churchill Downs today failed to obtain the recommendation of that board composed of Charles F Price T C Bradley and S C Nuckols in his effort to obtain a trainers license under the commission commissionAfter After hearing the internationally known horseman the committee drafted the following as its report to the commission C E Durnell was today given a hearing by the license committee of the Kentucky State Racing Commission and after con ¬ sideration thereof and also of the fact that the applicant had been denied a license by The Jockey Club qf New York in 1929 your committee would recommend that his applica ¬ tion for a trainers license in Kentucky be tabled until such disapproval of his appli ¬ cation by The Jockey Club of New York is removed removedNot Not unlikely Durnell will appear before the racing commission here Saturday He may appeal from the action of the license board previously approved by the governing body
