LUTHER PLEADS HIS CASE TORONTO Ont May 20 Tommy Luther made a trip here to interview Francis Nelson and T B Campbell in an effort to straighten out his difficulties with the Agua Calicnte people Luther was suspended at the Agua Caliente mectinjr for rough riding last winter but was permitted tq ride in the 10000 Agua Caliente Handicap In that race he steered his mount across his field causing a jam in which the favorite Victorian was seriously interfered with The officials are determined to do what they can to stamp out rough riding in these big events and it looks as if Luther will be on the ground for a while longer possibly until the opening of the meeting at Agua Caliente next winter
