DAN W HALL DIES Dan W Hall well known on many race tracks who has been ill for some time died in Chicago Monday night Mr Hall was one of the old guard of the turf and for his entire life was connected with race tracks in different capacities He was one of the most prominent bookmakers in America in the old days and of late years has been prominently affiliated with the mutuel depart ¬ ments on various race courses Mr Hall was 60 years of age and though born in Kansas City Mo has made his home in Oak Park 111 for some time His widow three sisters and a brother survive The funeral will take place from the Postlewaite under ¬ taking establishment at 720 Lake street at 930 a m Thursday
