f BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES I ♦ i COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 4. Through an error, it was reported that ex-jockey V. Swanson had been denied a trainers license at Beulah Park. It was later learned that Swanson was the owner of horses trained by C. Stanfield, but stewards Ireland and Dangman ruled that Swanson would not be allowed to race horses or be connected with racing in any form on the Grove City course. Stanfield was granted a trainers license. Jockey Willie Stamper was given a probationary riding license by the Beulah Park stewards. Jockey L. Dye, who had applied for a jockey license, withdrew his application. Jockey C. Pribble was also permitted to withdraw his riding application. The future entry of the horse Sable was ordered refused by the stewards for being in an unfit racing condition. The entry of the horse Northern Star was ordered refused for being a bleeder. Jockey L. Gray was granted a limited riding license.
