LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS F. Horn, by riding eleven winners last week, included his name among the thirty leaders of his profession. He now boasts a record of having ridden twenty-three horses to victory since the first of the year. Among the top-notch riders A. Robertson had the best record, with six winners for the six days of racing, a winner a day. Because of the time necessary for the long jump from Tanforan to Aurora, L. Cunningham spent most of the week train riding and lost an opportunity to add to his record. However, he rode one winner, which put him just one away from the century mark, the apprentice having ridden exactly ninety nine winners. Following are the records of the thirty leading riders from January 1 up to and including the racing of last Saturday: Per Last Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2nd. 3rd. Unp. Cent.Wk.
