DODIE LEIGHTON took a good lead on the stretch turn, but tired and barelv lasted to save second place. LENNY closed fast. PERFECT Al.IBI tired in the stretch. MARGARET PARKER showed carlv speed. PRINCETON lost the race by going very wide on the stretch turn, but came again and was gaining. FILM also went wide on the final turn. LANlER made up some ground. CELTIC PRINCE, in close quarters on the back stretch, was used up getting to the front and had little left for the final drive. LITTLE GYP and TONY JOE tired. MORSNUFF was never dangerous.
