DANVILLE BOOKS ISSUED AURORA, 111., May 1.— Books for the first meeting of the Midwest Jockey Club, to be held at Danville, 111., arrived today, and were distributed by J. R. Bennett. The Danville meeting, which will be of ten days duration, will get under way May 30. The Inaugural Handicap will have a value of 00, while the Danville Derby, to be run on June 6, will have ,500 added. The remainder of the races will be for 00 and 00 purses. T. H. Ryan is listed as presiding steward of the meetings, while E. C. Knebelkamp is the racing secretary, and C. D. Stevens the starter.
