H. A ruling was issued by the stewards re- quiring Gallopin Diamond to have as part of his equipment in the future, a muzzle. In his last race at Ottawa, Gallopin Diamond savaged Jug of Gold and attempted to pull jockey Cooper out of the saddle. A report, which came from Hamilton, had it that one of the stables at the Hamilton Jockey Club course had been destroyed by fire. The improvements at Kings Park are about completed, but that sharp corner at the first turn still remains. New stalls are being built at the Mount Royal course, Cyclone wire fences have been constructed around both courses. Jack Whyte is sending the big string he is handling for Willis Sharpe Kilmer from here to Hamilton at the conclusion of the Blue Bonnets meeting. W. J. Norton, who is handling the horses that are racing for the Eastland Stock Farm, has completed arrangements to leave for Salem, N. H. Fred Littlefield, the old-time jockey, who is here with his nephew, Earl Waldon, was the one who held the winning ticket on the dual mutuel on Saturday.
