I ARLINGTON PARK NOTES t e $ ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, 111., June 25. Risque, queen of the stable of John Hertz, breezed three-quarters of a mile in slow going at Arlington Park this morning in 1:14%. Risk, Risques half-sister, a 6,000 daughter of Sir Gallahad III. and Risky, breezed a half in :51%. She was full of run. This is one of the three best Hertz two-year-olds. The other two are Pairbypair and Watch Him. French Duchess, a daughter of Epinard and Grey Duchess, Leona bred and a candidate for the 5,000 Lassie Stakes, went a half in :52%. Tweet Tweet, a daughter of Sir Galahad III. and Bobolink II. and half-sister of St. James, daddy of Jamestown, turned a half in :52%. Adine, another Hertz three-year-old, worked six furlongs in 1:16%. Mrs. Katherine Elkins Hitts Hot Toddy galloped a mile in 1:47%. Sunvir of the same stable sauntered three-quarters in 1:24% and Icicle, Mrs. Hitts smartest fencer, jogged a mile in 1:52%. All of these are winners this season. The veteran William T. of the Caskey stable galloped three-quarters of a mile in 1:19, hard held. His younger half-brother, Mynheer, a son of Master Charlie, did the same distance in 1:21. Mad Wind, of Mose Lowensteins string, turned five furlongs in 1:05%. The biggest consignment of eastern horses to reach Arlington Park today was the establishment of James Healy, the elder, which is made up mostly of jumpers. Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark, whose nephews Albert C. Bostwick and Pete Bostwick are the most accomplished and successful of American steeplechase riders, owns most of the horses Healy is handling, notably Crumpler, Captain Hook, Tassel, Swiveler, Madiola, Madrigal II. and Contrition, jumpers, and Never-fade, Madrigannah and Landward, flat runners. Pete Bostwick will ride for his aunt at Arlington Park. Harry Miner brought these horses West. Healy will be out toward the end of the week. Dick Vestal brought nine of the Three Ds Stable of the wealthy Waggoners of Texas over from Washington Park, where in the last two or three days he sold a dozen or so. The 0,000 Texas Knight, the 6,500 Liberty Limited and the 6,000 Lady Teddy, all by Sir Gallahad III., all candidates for the Post and Paddock revival, are of this bunch. Texas Knight and Liberty Limited may start in the Hyde Park next Wednesday. Their stable companions nre Howdy Boy, Sir Melton, Pietro, Quatre Bras, Pansy Walker and Canfli. Lady Teddy is a winner. Ouatre Bras is an own brother of Sir Gal lahad III. Blessfield, a bay and gelded son of Noblesse Oblige and Binfield, belonging to Morris Vehon of Chicago, which after four years of more or less successful racing on the flat in various parts of the country, is about to try his luck in the steeplechase field, is one of about twenty horses in the stable of Jake Lowenstein, which arrived at Arlington Park today.
