D0RVAL PARK TURF NOTES — — g MONTREAL,, Que., June 25. Conny Smythe came down from Toronto to witness the running of his mare Daisy Fair in the Maple Leaf Purse. Dave Garrity, another Toronto sportsman, was an arrival. He will stay for the remainder of the meeting. Leo Dandurand, treasurer of the Dorval Club, leaves for Cleveland immediately after the meeting to view the Schmeling-Stribling match. Joseph Cattaranich, who came here from his Bainbridge meeting to see the first match of indoor lacrosse played on the continent, left last night on his return to Cleveland. Cattaranich is an old time lacrosse star and still cherishes a keen sentimental interest in the game. He is the real founder of the present indoor league. Harry Giddings, trainer for the Mount Royal Stable, returned to Dorval from Hamilton. a
