WALTERS DENIES HES DEAD NEW YORK, N. Y., Jan. 5. Upon his return to his Long Beach, L. I., home Tuesday from Atlantic City, where he had spent the holidays, C. B. "Blues" Walters was startled to read a published report from Miami that he had died. "Blues" Walters is one of the old-timers on the turf, and still is as keenly interested in the sport as he was years ago when he was one of the big operators in the field. "Im still able to smell flowers," said Mr. Walters, requesting that the report of his death be denied.
