? f AGUA CALIENTE NOTES $ Apprentice E. Sylvia arrived from Tan-foran. Before departing, his contract was sold to Eugene Drillon. Sylvia formerly was under contract to the La Brea Stable. Freddy Cantrell will make his engagements. Jockey Lefoy Cunningham left Tanforan for a short visit to his home in Idaho. He is expected to arrive in Agua Caliente in the near future to accept mounts. Apprentice L. Arnold, who led the riders at the San Bruno meeting with a total of forty-four winners, arrived and is ready for action. Arnold does not lose his "bug" until late in March and will by that time undoubtedly be giving Reno and Coucci, the two leaders at the present time, a battle for riding honors. Frank Tally is making his engagements. Apprentice G. Gay was another to arrive from the North. Gay rode here the fore part of the meeting, but returned to Tanforan, where he was seen in action until the close of the meeting. His engagements will be handled by Leo Ruzicka. Jockeys Chidgey, De Peso and Arnold reported today from the North and will don silks tomorrow. Starter Cassidy ordered Lady Cloi scratched from Tuesdays second race. She has a reputation as a bad actor.
