SUSSMANS LUCKY INVESTMENT NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 5. Max Suss-man, who rents and sells binoculars on the Chicago tracks, showed keener vision than the best of his glasses when he bet on the winners of the "daily double" at Jefferson Park Monday. The combination ticket on Jeff ONeil and Our Grief, winners of the second and third races, paid ,733 and the only purchaser was Suss-man. The pay-off on the double Monday was the largest since the double was introduced at Jefferson.
