WIDENER TO INTRODUCE FIVE Juveniles by John P. Grier and Jamestown Will Be Seen at Hialeah Park. MIAMI, Fla., Jan. 5. Joseph E. Wideners red and white striped silks will fly over five promising two-year-olds in the juvenile engagements at Hialeah Park this winter. Four of these youngsters are by John P. Grier and the other is by St. James, a speed sire who produced Jamestown, the juvenile champion of 1930. One of the John P. Grier fillies, Algeria, is from the good race-mare, Jyntee, which raced successfully for Fred Kraft. She is a full sister to Memories Dear, which now campaigns for Kraft The other John P. Griers are Hobnail, a bay colt from Hiker; Dome, a black colt, from Pinnacle, and Unfair, a chestnut filly, from Befair. Warble, a trimly-built daughter of St. James and Violet Ray, completes the quintet. Hobnail and Dome are nominated for the colts and geldings division of the Nursery Stakes, while Unfair has been named for the fillies division. The male section of the Nursery Stakes will be run at Hialeah Park Saturday, February 20, and the fillies division is to be decided Thursday, February 25.
