JEFFERSON DERBY CONDITIONS NEW ORLEANS, La., Jan. 5. Conditions for the Jefferson Park Derby, ,000. added, which is to be run on January 23, at Jefferson Park, were released today by racing secretary Julius Reeder. The nominating fee is 0, with 00 additional to start. The nominations will close on January 14. Weight is 120 pounds, with non-winners of ,000 or ,500 twice, allowed four pounds; a race or ,500 or ,500 twice, seven pounds; ,050 three times or a race of ,500, ten pounds; two races, twelve pounds; maidens, fifteen pounds. Secretary Reeder expects no less than twenty-five nominations for the race, with a probability of fifteen starting for the stake, which will run the winning money up to some ,700. The second horse will draw ,000, the third, 00, and the fourth, 50.
