T JEFFERSON PARK NOTES 6 W. H. Blanton has taken over to train for A. Dufauchard the horses Lena M., Pagan Laddie and Catalog. He succeeds C. O. Smith, who was "ruled off the course" by the Jefferson Park stewards following the recent sudden death of Dark Simon, also owned by Dufauchard. John O. Keene is returning here Monday from Kentucky by motor and, after spending a few days here, will proceed to Miami, where a big division of his Keeneland Stud is being prepared for the Hialeah Park meeting. Melvin Lewis will go to Miami about February 1. He is with the Keeneland Stud for the winter. Jockey Eddie Legere is a visitor and, after a short stay, will go to Miami. C. N. Finch, widely known veterinary, was an arrival from his home at Jeffersonyille, Ind. After paying a few professional calls here, Dr. Finch will continue to Havana, leaving by boat Saturday.
