TROPICAL PARK TURF NOTES s Morris Hymes, accompanied by Solly Cohen, 1 were visitors at Tropical Park. They i motored down from New York, arriving in I Miami Tuesday evening. Hymes reports a 1 big party is being made up in New York, which will leave for Florida next week. Karl Horvath, who at one time rode for the Glenn Riddle Farm, is here and will ride the horses James Healey is training for J. H. Whitney. Healey was out at Tropical Park inspecting the plant, and will likely be one of the number who will remain over for the second meeting. The many friends of Malcolm McFarland will be pained to hear that he is dangerously ill at his home in New Orleans. Joseph B. Boyle, general manager of the" Bowie plant, Is coming to Miami about February 1. The useful plater Griffin came out of hi last race lame.
