PHAR LAP WORKS AT AGUA AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, Feb. 4. Phar Lap, the Australian invader, was on the track this morning with his exercise boy, J. H. Martin, in the saddle and was sent a slow five furlongs over the fast drying out and cuppy track in 1:08 breezing. Tommy Woodcock his trainer, was greatly impressed with the work, as were the great number of horsemen who lined the rail at different places when he was brought down from his barn. Racegoers will be given a chance to cast eyes on the wonder horse Sunday afternoon. He will be worked with jockey Martin at the helm between races.
