HIALEAH PARK GOSSIP I B. A. Jones has arrived to take over the horses of Herbert M. Woolf, Kansas City sportsman. Trainer Dan E. Stewart resigned several days ago and Jones has succeeded him in charge of the Woolf establishment. William R. Woollatt, general manager of the Thorncliffe and Devonshire courses in Canada, is expected to arrive in Miami Saturday. He will remain here for two weeks in the interests of his summer meetings. Racing secretary H. D. Munroe announces that applications for stall reservations at Tropical Park will be received up to and including Saturday, February 6. Trainer John Zoeller has wired reservations for twelve stalls for horses which he will ship from Oriental Park, Cuba, this week. E. Read has applied for two stalls and will ship with the Zoeller string. Newton Barrett, who has been at Oriental Park since the meeting there opened, waM an arrival from Cuba. He plans to remain; here for the balance of the winter. Jockey C. Corbett is coming on from New.. Orleans. He will again be associated with," the Howard-Carreaud stable. R. Denny is due from Kentucky Friday; -and on his arrival he will take over the horses owned by his sister-in-lawt Mra Grace Denny.
