I AGUA CALIENTE NOfES H. B. Wolfe, second trainer of the string of Baron Long, has purchased the two-year-olds Royal Chef and Happy Fanny from that horseman, and Happy Fanny will run in his colors tomorrow. Walter Fenwick, head trainer of the Long string, is contemplating the purchase of a half dozen or more in the stable. Alexander Pantages, which was thrown out of training recently, is galloping again and trainer Finnegan will attempt to get him ready for the Agua Caliente Handicap. The management reserves the right to cancel steeplechase events on account of the condition of the field or to run them over hurdles on the main track.
