FOURTEEN FEATURE ELIGIBLES NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 9. Fourteen entries were received for the ,500 added Edgewater Gulf Hotel Claiming Sweepstakes, the feature of the annual Edgewater Gulf Hotel program at the Fair Grounds next Saturday. Eligibles include a number of the most successful of the second flight older racers of the winter and the race, at one mile and a sixteenth, should prove one of the best of its kind run at the course. Without exception the nominees are very probable starters and including, as they do, such as Prince Pest, Wotan, Prose and Poetry, Chene, Blot, Silverdale, Bar Hunter, Mine Sweeper and others, patrons are assured an exceptional contest. A complete list of eligibles, as announced this afternoon by racing secretary Joseph McLennan, follows: Bar Hunter, Wotan, Prince Atheling, Silverdale, Chene, Mine Sweeper," Gettin Even, Black Fool, Glidelia, Blot, Prose and Poetry, Prince Pest, Frumper and Nellie Custis.
