I FAIR GROUNDS TURF NOTES f $ Robert Saxon, sports editor of the Cincinnati Enquirer and John Early, prominent sports enthusiast of that city, were visitors at the Fair Grounds today. They plan a two-weeks stay. .The condition of Eugene Lutzt veteran turfman, who underwent a serious operation here last week, was so much improved today that Dr. Russell E. Stone hopes to have- him up and around within a comparatively short, time. Vernon Cloud, well known horseman, has been authorized to purchase a few .horses for J. Cornell, local enthusiast. He secured Miss Emma from J. H. ODonnell and also took over to train for J. Money; the racer Alton N. Money left for Kansas City, wher$ he will be in charge of some of the prepn arations for the coming meeting at Rivera side Park. J. M.
