NICK D., a strong factor from the start, went to the outside in the stretch and held on fairly well. TRINCHERA began fast and tired after overtaking MAD FINN in the stretch. MAD FINN showed speed, saved ground, but quit badly after five-eighths. DR. ROGERS closed fast. MADFINIS raced .wide while close up and tired. The latter closed fast after going to the outside of the winner in the final eighth. DOLLYS BABY, a factor throughout, tired. MISS N CONLAN was away slowly, but closed fastest of all. LADY COUVIN had no mishaps. TONIGHT lost ground. EFJAYBE quit. ORLOFF was racing resolutely in the stretch. LAMPOON showed early speed.
