MAL DOYLE DIES Mai Doyle, veteran turfman, former turf writer, pugilist, ex-U. S. Cavalryman, and of late years a telegraph operator, died today after a lengthy illness. Doyle owned Per-.noel, now racing at Havana, also Permarco, dam of Pernoel and a colt by Infinite, a promising two-year-old at present under the care of Col. W. B. Miller, owner of Greenwich Stud, near Lexington, Ky. When Juarez was in its heyday as a winter track, Mr. Doyle campaigned an extensive string there, and will be remembered as the owner of the consistent plater Finnegan. Mr. Doyles remains will be shipped to St. Louis for burial.
