HALF BROTHER TO MATE LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 11. A handsome half-brother to Mate, winner last year of the Preakness, American Derby, Classic Stakes and four other stake races, arrived this morning at the Belair Farm of the Hon. Leslie Combs. Killashandra, Mates dam, now owned by Mr. Combs, foaled a fine bay or brown colt by Mad Hatter. The mare will be mated this year with St. Germans, sire of Twenty Grand, Mates great opponent in the struggle for three-year-old honors last year.
