PROBABLE HANDICAP FIELD AGUA CALIENTE, Mexico, Feb. 11. Of the thirty-nine horses remaining in the Agua Caliente Handicap, but twenty-one are on the grounds at present and several can be listed as almost certain non-starters. Those now in training on the grounds which are expected to start in the big race are Bahamas, Cabezo, Dr. Freeland, Good and Hot, Marine, Joe Flores, Night Patrol, Phar Lap, Reveille Boy and Seths Hope. Outsiders expected to arrive and try for the rich purse are Plucky Play, Gallant Sir and possibly Wotan. It is not expected that Lucky Tom will be shipped West. Eligibles on the ground which appear as non-starters at the present time are Alexander Pantages, which was recently put back in, training, the unfortunate Ervast, which recently returned to training after having been laid up for some time, Up, now out of training through leg injuries, and Nacho, "Whipper Cracker, Tippy Toe, Tonto Rock, Scimitar, Foolhardy and Blunder, all of which appear to be outclassed.
