PREPARING FOR SPRING SALES LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 11. E. J. Tranter, president of the Fasig-Tipton Company, writes from his winter home at Fort Lauderdale, Fla., that he will make preparations for sales of thoroughbreds at the Lexington sales paddocks Ma i, 5 and 6, the three dayg immediately preceding the Kentucky Derby, unless it develops that breeders and owners would rather not have a sale at that time. He invites opinions from horsemen and may be addressed at post office box 3271, Fort Lauderdatej Fla.
