CUBAN RACING PROGRESSING- MIAMI, Fla., Feb. 17. -Frank Kearns, who has been commuting between Hialeah Park and Oriental Park all winter, returned from Cuba. He reports large crowds at the Marianao course and that the sport looks healthy. Kearns left three horses at Oriental Park which are being looked after by his foreman, W. Missick. The latter is also handling the two horses that H. Teller Archibald shipped over to Cuba a week or ten days ago. At the conclusion of the present meeting, Kearns will entrain for Columbia, S. C, where he has eight Irish-bred horses in winter quarters. Included in this lot is the good mare Deedie. They are being galloped and will be shipped to Bowie. Jockey. W. Prior will do the riding for the Kearns Stable this year. 1 , 1
