IRVINE ENGAGES POOL NEW ORLEANS, La., Feb. 17. William Irvine, acting for S. W. Labrot, today engaged Earl Pool for the Derby Trial, Louisiana Derby and the Mac Cosgair Stakes. In the former two Pool will ride Springsteel, while the best of the .Labrot two-year-olds will try for the Mac Cosgair under Pools direction.
