FEU FOLLET, quick to get going, was shuffled back entering the back stretch, overtook LUCK PAL and, without need of pressure after reaching the final quarter, won with speed to spare. LUCKY PAL, hustled into a long lead and taken in hand after a quarter, maintained his speed to the final eighth" and was much the best of the others. THE DUKE improved his position with a slieht loss of ground and held on welk GUIDE LEFT had no mishaps. ZAHN could not get up. PESSIMISTIC was outrun. SHAKITUP showed speed for five-eighths. RUNAR also began fast, saved much ground going to the first turn and failed to threaten the winner. TRANSFORMATION, always in the van of the others, raced evenly. LADY BIENVILLE lost ground and failed to respond when hard urged in the last quarter. CURTSEY, under light restraint for five-eighths, failed to respond when put to a drive. PRIMEVAL, on the outside most of the way, was never a strong factor. SANTA SOPHIA was badly outrun. MISS BUNTING, suited by the going, improved her position fast after starting slowly and, following GIRL GRADUATE, under light restraint until entering the stretch, took an easy lead and" continued boldly to the end. GIRL GRADUATE began fast, showed speed and, while failing to withstand the winner, outlasted SONSY. The latter, away fast, lost much ground on the turn, bore to the inside near the final eighth and vas going well in the late stages. OTTIE M., on the inside throughout, raced well. CHANTESUTA had no mishaps. MANYA lost ground and was in close quarters on the turn. FLAUNT began fast, drew into command gradually after a quarter, maintained good speed for the going under occasional brisk pressure in the stretch and was not threatened by THUNDERTONE. The latter, forced to race wide for three-eighths, closed resolutely, wore down STIMULATOR and continued resolutely to the end. The latter began fast, saved ground, but was slightly taken back when outrun on the turn and tired thereafter. SIMPLE SINGER dropped out of it after three-eighths. PRINCESS A. O. was outrun.
