OAK RIDGE PAIR FARE WELL Sons of Stimulus and Bunting Give Much Promise Under Direction of Ldftus. NEW YORK, N. Y., Feb. 16. Johnny Lof-tus, who trains the horses of the Oak Ridge Stabe, has seven promising juveniles in C. J. Ryans private barn at Belmont Park on the hill back of the training, track. The band is composed of two colts and five fillies. They have received their preliminary racing education and showed up impressively. They have not been named. A bay son of Stimulus, from Silent Princess, is a handsome individual with good size and nice conformation. He is well boned and deep through the heart, not too coarse and strongly muscled. He has a nice disposition. The other colt is a brown by Bunting Silk Lady. He is a well-made youngster with an intelligent head set on a well formed neck. He has fine shoulders, large quarters and a wide back. It is virtually impossible to find fault with his conformation and he shapes up as a likely prospect. A dark bay filly, by Brown Bud Erne is one of the first of the get of that young sire and in looks and conformation is almost a replica of that good horse. She is a half-sister to the fleet mare Pansy Walker, which races so, well under the colors of the Three Ds Stock Farm. From her appearance and the speed she showed in her trials last fall, she should prove one of the first flight of the two-year-old fillies of 1932. A bay or brown daughter of Brown Bud, from Joys Delight also is highly regarded by her connections. This filly is of the so-called fashionable type and a good racing prospect. She is level headed and goes about her daily task in a business-like manner that suggests she may be better than the average. The daughter of American Flag and Lovers Lane is a chestnut and of the speedy type, with low withers and high quarters. She has fine legs, well set up under her and apparently is of the type that comes to hand early. She is built on sprinting lines. The young sire, Macaw, is represented by a bay filly from Julieanne. This miss is a stylish-looking filly, built along racing lines. She has filled out steadily since last fall and she should more than pay her way next sea-, son. The last filly is a daughter of Stimulus and Parthenia. She has many fine points to recommend her. A level head, nice quarters, and easy action and good conformation. She somewhat resembles her dam in build. She has speed on her sires side and distance running ability from the distaff side of the family. She is of the light chestnut type and is well marked with a blazed face. She has four white legs. All of the older horses in Loftus charge are wintering In first-class condition.
