AGUA CALIENTE NOTES i A benefit race will be staged on Friday for the purpose of aiding Herman "Dutch" Muluvius and Grant Edison, both of -whom have been ill for some time. Muluvius is well known as a valet on Chicago and Tanforan tracks while Edison, is a former owner and trainer. Seventeen horses have been entered in the affair and the purse of 00 will be divided between. Muluvius and Edison. The horse winning the race will not be penalized!, The Oak Tree Stable, one of the more prominent of California racing establishments, will be campaigned on Chicago tracks next summer. Owner Hartman intends to ship his string to Tanforan and then to Washington Park, Chicago. Bahamas, star three-year-old, is the head of the outfit Jockey Lafoy Cunningham, under contract to C. E. Davison, has been engaged by Benny Creech to pilot Dr. Freelarid jn the, Agua Caliente Handicap. Cunningham got his start at Agua Caliente last season.
