JUNGLE BOY, slow to start, worked his way up on the outside, bore over to the inside in the stretch and was gaining on the winner. BO BALLOT, a contender from the start, saved ground all the way. The latter moved up steadily in the last three-eighths on the outside and just failed to get tip. MY DANDY, rlose to the leader, saved ground end came again under punishment, but was not good enough. THAIS moved up fast on the outside entering the stretch, then tired. ARRAS tired after half a mile. BOUNDING DEEP began from outside the machine, drew clear midway of the back stretch but was not good enough. IRON CZAR always held the others safe. BOZO began sidewise from outside the machine, saved ground, but could not get up. MOROCCO, hard urged throughout, could not improve his position. The last four horses were eased up in the stretch. .
