Start good out of machine. Won driving; second and third easily. ILLUSIVE forced the pace from the start and, responding gamely in the closing sixteenth, wore down BOLD LOVER in the final drive. The latter moved into command at the start, showed good speed, raced straight, but tired right at the end. JESTING moved up resolutely under pressure, then tired at the end. DOME showed an even performance. REVONAH had no mishaps. EVA B. was blocked shortly after the start and wjs in close quarters near the final eighth. FLYING DRAGON was outrun. JACK ANTHONY jumped well and, rated alone steadily, moved up fast when called upon and, wearing down the leaders, won with speed to spare. CAHIRC1VEEN, closest to the pace all the way, disposed of TRIESTE when ready and held on well. DRAPEAU. outrun early, closed a gap on the outside. PORTRAIT, outrun early, finished well under urging. IRISH BULLET raced wide throughout. ROSEDALE II., under early restraint, tired badlv when called upon. MY CAVALIER fell at the first jump. Scratched— 71556 Wolf Run, 135. PANAX, under restraint to the stretch, wore down COCKED HAT an eighth out. but tired badlv when challenged by the winner. COCKED HAT showed a good turn of speed, but tired in the stretch. PANETIAN began from outside the machine, but was close up throughout, only to lire at the end and had no excuses. HALCYON left the post sluggishly and closed gamely. STAGECRAFT tired under a drive.
