ARLINGTON STAKES SCHEDULE Order of Running of Thirty Feature Events to Be Decided at Pa-] latial Chicago Track. Dates for the thirty stakes features of the Arlington Park Jockey Clubs meeting June , ■ 27 to- July 30 at its northside course were announced by president Otto W. Lehmann following a conference with racing secretary , Joseph McLennan and they represent a stake-a-day program, calculated to avoid conflict in the various classes. 1 Mr. Lehmann several days ago announced the dates for the nine major attractions, with the 570,000 Classic set for Saturday, , • July 16, and the 0,000 Arlington Futurity named for closing day, Saturday, July 30. Other Saturday features are the Arlington Oaks, July 2; Arlington Cup, July 9, and the Arlington Handicap, July 23. Prominent Wednesday events will be the Hyde , Park Stakes, July 13; Lassie Stakes, July 20, and the Matron Handicap, July 27. Two Mondays also will witness the runnings of ; important races, the Arlington Inaugural Handicap, taking place on opening day, and the Stars and Stripes Handicap, July 4. The thirty stakes represent added money of 52,500 and should gross well above 00,-000, president Lehmann said, while the total distribution during the thirty-day meeting with approximate 00,000.
