FAIRENO AFTER AMERICAN DERBY . . « Winner of Belmont Stakes Coming to Washington Park for Big Local Fixture — Top Flight May Be Starter * HOMEWOOD, 111., June 7. — Further assurance that all the outstanding three-year-olds will contest in the America Derby was given by Col. M. J. Winn, managing director of Washington Park, where the 0,000 added fixture for three-year-olds will "be renewed on Saturday, June 18, who stated that barring mishap, William Woodwards Faireno, winner of the Belmont Stakes last Saturday, is a certain starter, and that C. V. Whitneys Top Flight may get into the probable field with a victory in the Ameri- can Coaching Club Oaks to be run at Belmont Park Thursday. As word of Fairenos special preparation for the premier event of the Washington Park meeting was received, J. H. Louch-heims Economic, second to Burgoo King in the Kentucky Derby and victor in the Ohio State Derby at Bainbridge Park last Saturday; Knebelkamp and Morris Adobe Post, and the Shandon Farms Minton comprised a trio of American Derby candidates unloaded at the Derby course. They shipped from Bainbridge Park overnight and came through the short and fast trip in fine fashion. Further advices from Belmont Park anent Col. E. R. Bradleys Burgoo King, winner of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, were to the effect that the son of Bubbling Over would be shipped West Saturday, arriving at the Homewood track Sunday. His final training for the American Derby will be supervised by trainer "Dick" Thompson, who will come on from New York in time to direct the unloading of the champion. Colonel Bradley plans to arrive I here several days in advance of the Derby, according to word from the master of Idle Hour Farm. The brilliant performance of Mrs. L. G. Kauffmans On Post, in the Nassau County Handicap at Belmont Park Monday, clinched for him a place in the American Derby field and his trainer, Max Hirsch, may bring along Gusto, the M. L. Schwartz colt, fourth in the Belmont Stakes, to try for honors in the local mile and one-quarter prize. W. M. Jeffords Boatswain, W. J. Salmons Mad Pursuit, S. W. Labrots Springsteel, W. S. Kilmers Sunmelus, W. R. Coes Oscu-lator and Mrs. J. H. Whitneys Stepenfetchit are other outstanding eligibles expected from the East. Clarence Buxton, trainer of the Louch-heim horses, is higher than ever on Economic. Shortly before Economics winning effort in the Ohio State Derby Buxton said of the son of Infinite, "hes better right now than at any time in his career. I surely look for him to go on to bigger things and he may prove the champion of his division." Francis Horn, who will ride Economic in the American Derby, is expected from Belmont Park Wednesday or Thursday. He will be accompanied by the apprentice M.
