TOP RIGHT IN FINE FORM Whitney Champion Ready for En- s gagement in Coaching Club American Oaks. NEW YORK. N. Y., June 7.— C. V. Whitneys remarkable filly, Top Flight, continues to train brilliantly for her engagement in the Coaching Club American Oaks, the big E closing feature of the Westchester Association at Belmont Park Thursday. Tuesday morning the daughter of Dis Done and Fly-atit simply breezed a mile and a quarter in 2:09%. She ran the mile in 1:43 and was under a stiff restraint all through the move. When the filly was shown under saddle as an added attraction for the Charity Day of racing Monday, it was noticeable how she had apparently improved since her first appearance" of the year. The W. R. Coe pair, Laughing Queen and Po!onaise, also eligibles for the big filly prize, were also under saddle, and they , went along for an easy mile and a furlong * 1:58. Laughing Queen was raced in the Belmont Stakes witn her stablemate, Oscu-lator, which finished second to Faireno, and there is no doubt of her complete readiness for the long gallop. Polonaise has been working right along with her in the mornings and it appears to be the present plan to send both to the post. These were the moves of importance, though James Fitzsimmons brought over a pair of his eligibles from Aqueduct, and 5 they were sent along for an easy seven furlongs. These were Unique, from the Wheat-ley Stable, and William Woodwards Sekh-met. They moved along together and were not asked for real speed, showing seven i furlongs in 1:28%. These fillies have been training at Aqueduct but were brought to Belmont Park for a gallop over the course on which they will race. This was the Fitzsimmons method with Faireno that met with such crowning success. At this time it would appear that the I field for the Oaks will be recruited from i C. V. Whitneys Top Flight; Wheatley Stables Unique; Belair Studs Sekhmet; E. R. Bradleys Boiling Water; W. R. Coes Laughing Queen and Polonaise; Greentree Stables Parry and Bird Nest, and possibly Joseph Wideners Foxiana. A
