= t ARLINGTON PARK NOTES | ; j $ — . e Joseph McLennan, racing secretary of the Arlington Park Jockey Club, arrived here from New York with the information that I practically all of the leading eastern stables are looking forward to participation in the e Arlington meeting, with its stake-a-day program. - McLennan reports wholesale nominations i- for each of the twenty-one stakes that * closed June 1 from such prominent owners 8 as C. V. Whitney, Mrs. J. H. Whitney, Green-tree 1 Stable, W. R. Coe, Willis Sharpe Kilmer, h George D. Widener and Morton L. Schwartz. z. Col. Edward R. Bradley, owner of the Kentucky Derby-Preakness winner, Burgoo 0 King, will spend the entire month of July here to witness the members of his first string in action at Arlington, the racing t secretary said. While William Mulholland will bring the George D. Widener horses to Arlington, McLennan ,_ said, A. J. Joyner will personally f direct the preparation of Evening and Jamestown for their engagements at the e North Side course. Preston Burch, trainer of the Suburban a Handicap winner White Clover II., is so well 1 pleased wtih the veteran outlander that he will point him for the Stars and Stripes and Arlington Handicaps and the Arlington Gold i Cupj McLennan added.
