f BAINBRIDGE TURF NOTES 1 4 . ® J. H. Louchheims Economic, winner of the Ohio State Derby, was shipped to Chicago Monday. Jockey V. Roussells apprenticeship expired on June 3. A. Sans is making the riding engagements of jockey W. Prior. F. C. Travis arrived here from Chicago with the horse Fortunate Youth and four others. Jockey D. Porter, who was taken ill Saturday and forced to cancel several of his engagements, was an absentee from the saddle Monday. Jockey T. W. Shaw was an arrival Saturday from Baltimore and will ride free lance. Another addition to the riding colony was jockey W. Kemph. He came from Chicago. So rapidly have horsemen been shipping their stables to race at this meeting that the stable accommodations at both Baln-bridge Park and Thistle Down Park are now almost exhausted. Jack Sheehan, prominent figure on race tracks all over America in the days of the bookmakers, was a visitor Saturday. He has been living in New Orleans. For rough riding in the sixth race Thursday, jockeys H. West and G. Fowler were each fined 5. For rough riding in the fourth race Thursday on St. Nazaire, jockey J. Haupt was fined 0. R. S. Eddy, Jr., of New Orleans, wired his regrets at being unable to witness the Derby owing to pressure of business at home. Adobe Post will be returned to Chicago and jockey Landolt, who piloted the colt, also returns to that point.
