• DESTROY STALLION BUNTING LEXINGTON, Ky., June 8.— Word was received here this morning from Capt. R. C. Woodruff that the thirteen-year-old stallion Bunting is dead at Roswell, N. M. The horse was kicked while being loaded into a car going to Captain Woodruffs ranch at Cool-idge, N. M. The cannon bone of his right foreleg was broken and he -var destroyed. Captain Woodruff bought Bunting at the C. V. Whitney sale here last November for ,700. He won the Futurity ant oth races and earned 8,226. He was the sire of Wacker Drive, Bargello, Lace, Back Log, Dress Ship and a host of other good winners.
