LATIFOLIA met interference in the stretch. LADY WESTY raced wide in the stretch and carried ZELLEEN out with her. MOMS POLLY was outrun all the wav. RED WHISK overtook BALLYGRAN after entering the stretch and, after racing on almost equal | terms with the latter to the final fifty yards, was drawing away slightly at the finish. BALLYGRAN dashed to the front soon after the start and, although in rather close quarters in the stretch, held on well. ROYAL BLUNDER lost ground by racing wide and showed a good performance. WHITE THORN raced well despite , interference. SNORKY, away slowly, dashed up to the leader on the outside in the first quarter, but tired. SUN GROS was outpaced.
