JAMESTOWN DUE TODAY HOMEWOOD, 111., June 20. Equipoise and Jamestown, two of the most formidable handicap horses in the country, will be among the notable additions to the gathering galaxy of turf stars at Arlington Park within the next forty-eight hours. The latter was expected some time Tuesday and Equipoise comes in Wednesday, according to advices received today. Jamestown will head the stable of George D. Widener, and Equipoise is the star of the eastern division of the C. V. Whitney establishment. Jamestown will make his first local appearance in the ,000 added Inaugural Handicap" next Monday and Equipoise will have his first important engagement in the Stars and Stripes Handicap on July 4.
