INJURED STARS SENT EAST HOMEWOOD, 111., June 20. While Gusto, the American Derby "winner, remained at Washington Park the ill-fated Boatswain and Economic, which went wrong in their final hard trial before the classic won by Gusto, were returned to New York, and Stepenfetchit, the big disappointment of the American Derby contest, was vanned to Arlington Park. Gusto is to remain in the West for an indefinite period, during which he will fill several engagements, the Arlington Classic and Latonia Derby, included. Max Hirsch, trainer of the American Derby winner, entrained Sunday for New York. He returns within a week or ten days.
