AL GREEN LOWERS RECORD Clips Full Second Off Three-Quarter Track Record-at Bainbridge Park Ladies Day. CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 20. Displaying dazzling speed at all stages, P. T. Catalanos Al Green was an easy winner of the Hawthorne Purse, the fifth race, which served as the principal attraction at Bainbridge Park this afternoon. G. Collins Racketeer raced into second place and the minor award went to J. R. Carlocks Toltec. Al Green sped over the six furlongs in .1:10, clipping a full second from the former track record. Jockey T. W. Shaw sent the winner to the front at once, running the first quarter in :23, and the half-mile in :46. Toltec and Dollar Princess raced closely lapped in closest pursuit of the flying leader. When straightened out in the stretch Al Green drew, away as Racketeer made his move on the outside. The son of Sweep never faltered and, continuing his fine speed, eventually won with much to spare. Racketeer was a handy second, as Toltec and Dollar "Princess tired in the final furlong. Burgoo began slowly and could not keep up. The weather was hot and sultry. A light shower fell as the horses paraded for the first race, but it failed to even lay the dust. It was ladies day and an excellent crowd was out for the sport.
