MARVAN showed a good performance. OCTARORO, under pressure from the start, tired. BODKIN saved ground and finished well on the inside. TERRIOR closed resolutely. WAR PLANE moved up with a rush when called upon, challenged gamely in the stretch and held .on welL CHARLELGH showed early speed under restraint, saved ground on the turns, but tired in the stretch.
