BROAD BILL was used up getting into the lead of GLYNSON in the early stages and had little left at the end. CAPTAIN JOY challenged gamely at the end. PARTING SHOT was in early trouble, but closed a big gap. The others were outrun. The latter was in close quarters on the far turn. LONELL showed a fairly good performance. ADSUM, lacking early speed, turned in an exceptionally poor performance and was never a factor. THE WHIG closed a gap. SUNDOT, close to the pace at all times, responded gamely to hard urging in the stretch and, racing into the lead in the final sixteenth, held ERVAST safe., The, latter, shuffled back early, came again in the stretch and was gaining at the finish., BACK LOG, showing fine early speed, raced SUPREME SWEET into defeat, but-could not last. CAMP BOSS was close up from the start. KARL EITEL showed good form and probably needed the race. STREET SINGER closed with a rush. DON LEON met interference and was never a serious factor.
