I LAT0NIA TURF NOTES s . and J. G. Goode arrived from Chicago with Oh Dave, Little Connelly, Running Water, Captain Logan and Sid Lea. Andrew Ayers brought J. O. Keenes Darkest Hour, Don Carlos, Tiger Trail, Absurdity, Blue Emperor and Ricciardo, and his own Tangalo and Pangloss from Washington Park. W. S. Rust arrived from Bairibridge with Abdel, Trudgeon, Nuckols Boy, Spill and Edna Carroll. Abdel and Trudgeon are the property of C. R. Allen and the Estate of C. B. Reid, while Spill and Edna Carroll raced in the interests of S. M. Look and Rust; and Nuckols Boy is owned by Frank Bohannon. Col. E. R. Bradleys big stable, in charge of William Hurley, unloaded early this morning after a fast and uneventful run from Washington Park. Hurley reported the following in the stable: Broad Meadows, Bar Hunter, Battering Ram, Battling Knight, Ballygran, Bengal Tiger, Bertjohn, Chicsu, Board Walker, Booby Bird, Bottle Green, Busted, By Gracious, Back Kick, Barry, Beefsteak, Below Cost, British Thrush, Broad Bill, Brokers Tip and Bubbler. Bar Hunter, Ballygran, Broad Meadows and others in the stable have stake engagements here. The riding will be done by the veteran James Smith. Sundays arrivals from Washington Park and Lincoln Fields included the stables of Jack Howard, George Collins, J. Graham Brown, T. Sanford and J. McShane. Howard will have Advising Anna, Louie Dear, Street Singer, Islam, Clasbys Choice, Lady Precious, Black West, Zeyar, Mt. Ranier, Adelaide A., Jane Boggess and Hernando to carry his colors here. Jockey Charles Cor-bett is with the stable. For George Collins, Tom Sanford has Thistle Arious, Thistle Ace, Thistle Tom, Thistle Play, Thistle Wise, Patricia Marian and several others. E. H. "Von Roenn, with Princess Octa, Princess Queen, Vonnie, Vonair, Kentucky Moon I and Bourbon Queen was among the morning arrivals from Chicago. The good filly, Jessie Dear, bucked while filling her engagement in the Clipsetta Stakes Saturday. Al Smitha is due tomorrow from Lexington with four or five head. F. R. Scriver registered Grier of Spain and King Lehr, property of R. ONeil, and J. E. Smith, Jr., checked in with Dean Lad, Little Hattie, Henry Curry, My Yes and Red June. "Des" Dressen and Mrs. Dressen were Sunday arrivals from Chicago. They expect to remain for some time during which Mrs. Dressen will take health treatments. J. P. Smith came in Sunday morning from Chicago with the horses Bill Southam, Bright Chestnut, Bird of Prey, Bright Red and Frances St. L. J. K. Browning of Huntington, W. Va., has Bee Time here. C. Bruce Head was among the morning arrivals from Chicago and assumed his duties in the stewards stand. He returns to Chicago to direct the Lincoln Fields season on the close here. Brass Monkey was claimed by Edward Haughton out of the fifth race at Latonia Monday for ,500.
